
Here is a list of what has been announced at the recent conference held by Nintendo.
A new DS model has been revealed called the Nintendo DSi.
- GBA slot removed.
- Screens expanded 17% to 3.5 inches.
- Audio enhancements; can adjust pitch and playback
- MP3 playback
- 3.0-megapixel exterior camera; 0.3-megapixel interior camera
- two touch screens
- SD card slot included, allowing pictures to be taken with the DSi and viewed on the Wii
- Built-in browser
- Game downloads (DSiWare) capable of being stored on DSi; prices range from free to “premium” 800 points; 1000 free points given (expires March 2010)
- Japan release date: November 1, 2008; price: ¥18,900 (US$179); available in black and white; other markets will receive it sometime next year
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will link DS and Wii.
- Dragon Quest IX shown; available March 2009

Now onto the Wii stuff.
- Games to be downloaded onto SD cards Spring 2009
- Launching campaign to help people connect to Internet (video, special Wi-Fi adapters); 500 points given to those who help others connect
- Animal Crossing data can be sent to DS version
- Animal Crossing with Wii Speak goes on sale November 20, 2008, in Japan for ¥7,800 (US$74)
- GameCube titles to be re-released with Wii controls (Play on Wii Selection)
- Upcoming titles: Punch-Out, Another Code, Sin & Punishment 2, Dynasty Warriors 3, Tales series
